Auto-Redirect

The Auto-redirect functionality redirects users to their regional (native) market (available in local language and currency) based on their IP address.

Redirect visitors to relevant markets according to their country:

Activating this option will redirect users to their regional (native) store on the basis of their IP address.

Include or exclude countries for Auto-redirection

Include – selecting this option will trigger redirection only for included countries and not for the rest of the countries Exclude – selecting this option will not trigger redirection only for excluded countries.

Always redirect to the market’s default language:

This option will redirect the users to the market’s default language irrespective of the user’s browser language.

Automatically switch the visitor’s language according to the browser’s preferred language:

Activating this option will redirect users to their regional market language based on their browser’s preferred language.

If there is no market available according to the browser language, it will not trigger redirection

Redirect Behavior:

Redirect when necessary: Selecting this option will redirect the users if they land on the incorrect regional market (language and currency)

Force redirect every time: Selecting this option will forcefully redirect users to the correct regional market. In case they land on an incorrect market or try switching to another market they will be redirected to the correct market again.

Redirect once: Selecting this option will redirect the users to the correct market for the first time.

Filter By URLs

Using this setting, you can trigger auto redirections on specific URLs

Include – selecting this option will trigger auto-redirect on the Included URLs Exclude – selecting this option will not trigger auto-redirect on the Excluded URLs

Filter by Params:

Using this setting, you can trigger auto redirections on specific parameters

Include – selecting this option will trigger auto-redirect only on the Included parameters Exclude – selecting this option will not trigger auto-redirect only on the Excluded parameters

Retain Behaviour:

Selecting this option with the params option will keep the cookies for Included or excluded parameters for 24 hours in the browser to remember the configuration.
