Delivery Availability

1. Available Day

The Available Days setting allows you to define which days customers can select for delivery or pickup when placing an order. This helps ensure that customers can only choose from the days when your business is operational for deliveries or pickups.

Select Available Days – Choose the specific days of the week when deliveries or pickups are available (e.g., Monday to Friday).
Disable Unavailable Days – If your business doesn’t deliver or offer pickups on certain days (e.g., Saturday or Sundays), those can be remain unchecked.
Control Customer Choices – Customers will only see the available days during checkout, preventing them from selecting dates when delivery or pickup is not possible.

Example:

A Florist offers deliveries only from Monday to Friday.
If a customer places an order on Thursday, they can choose any available delivery date between Friday and the upcoming week (excluding weekends).
If Saturday and Sunday is disabled, the customer won’t be able to select them as a delivery dates.

This feature ensures smooth order scheduling while preventing confusion regarding unavailable delivery days.

If a customer is placing an order on Friday, they will only be able to choose the next shipping day from Monday. These settings will work in conjunction with Cut off time and Delivery lead time settings.

2. Black Out Days

The Blackout Days setting allows you to define specific dates when customers cannot choose delivery or pickup. This feature works similarly to available days. In case you want to skip any specific day for order delivery, you can add it to the blackout days and the customer will not able to select it.

How It Works:

Any dates you mark as blackout days will be disabled on the delivery date selection calendar.
Customers will not be able to place orders for these dates.
This is useful for holidays, store closures, or any days when delivery or pickup is unavailable.

Example:

If your store is closed on Christmas (December 25) and New Year’s Day (January 1), you can add these as blackout days. Customers will not be able to select these dates.
