Using URL Mapping, you can redirect users from an Old Destination URL to a specific New Destination URL.

Note: The functionality will only work with the Relative Redirect enabled and the relative URLs always begin with a forward slash, “/”.

Redirect From – In this field you need to add the old destination URL from which you want to redirect users. [Enter the Old Destination URL]
Here you can enter the complete URL or /relative path with the required Type.

Type:
Exact –Redirect users when the exact path is matched in the “Redirect from” field.
Contains – Redirect users when the contents added in the Redirect from’ field is detected

Redirect To – In this field, you need to add the New Destination URL to which you want to redirect users. [enter the New Destination URL]

– With the Origin option, you need to add the /pathname to redirect the users to the added path with the Actual Destination URL (added in the Redirect Settings). For example – add ‘/products‘ in the field and the user will be redirected to https://xyz.myshopify.com/products

– With the Origin + Locale option, you need to add the /pathname to redirect the users to the added path with the Actual Destination URL (Locale added for market) (added in the Redirect Settings). For example – add ‘/products‘ in the field and the user will be redirected to https://xyz.myshopify.com/en/products

– With the Full URL option, you need to add the complete URL on which you want to redirect the users https://xyz.myshopify.com/collections/all
