If you followed all the installation instructions step-by-step and still cannot see addons on your website, there are certain checks you can do to see the app works as expected.

Note: When you save any setting or create addons, the app script takes a while to update on the live store.

Please check the below conditions for addons issues with quick resolution to make them work:

Condition: If the auto-installation setting is disabled. (need to enable)
Resolution: Enable App Embed and save it. Then check mark the auto snippet for the product and cart pages

Condition: Handle change (need to recreate addons)
Resolution: If you have changed the handle of the main product/addon product, you need to recreate addons in the app.

Condition: Sold-out state (enable the sold-out setting)
Resolution: If the addon product is in a sold-out state and you want to display them in the store, then you need to enable a setting from the app.

Go to Addons app > settings > App Settings > Addon Settings > Display Sold-out product (select Yes to display sold-out addons) > click save.

In case of Master product is fully Sold-out, you need to enable the below setting to display addons with the fully sold-out master product.

Go to Addons app > settings > App Settings > Addon Settings > Display addon on fully Sold-out product (select Yes to display addons with the fully sold-out product) > click save.

Condition: Product in the draft, archive, “out of sale channels”, and deleted (need to create an active product)
Resolution: If the addon product is in a Draft/unpublished state in the store, you need to active the addon product to make it visible in the store.

Condition: If any third-party app is conflicting with addons in the store and not letting the addons display or add to the cart.
Resolution: There may be some other app’s script that conflicts with our app’s script which makes our app not work as expected. Please reach us on help@spicegems.com and we will get it sorted for you.
