# Create a Return Request from return portal
Using the RMS app, your customers can place the order return request from the store hassle-free with the help of their order number and email.
**Steps for customers to create a Return Request**
**Step-1: Returns form** - The Customer needs to add the **Order ID** and **Email** here **(generated when the order is placed)** and click on **lookup** to process the request.
Step-2: **Order Details** - on this page, the customer will see the details of the order. Click on Create Request to proceed.
Step-3: **Product selection for return** - Select the product here that requires to be returned and choose a return reason and resolution type. The customer can attach images of the returning item as well. Check mark the Accept and click on the submit request button.
Step-4: **Shipping details** - this page will display if you have configured shipping in the app else the customers will see the page shown in Step-5.
Step-5: Return submitted
